The Liturgy Committee is responsible for planning and carrying out various functions related to the celebration of the Mass.

These functions require many volunteers to serve as:

  • Musicians
  • Sacristans
  • Children's Liturgists
  • Liturgical Environment Decorators
  • Altar Servers (youth and adult)
  • Lay Service Presiders
  • Proclaimers of the Word
  • Eucharistic Ministers
  • Hospitality ministry (Ushers, Greeters, Gift Bearers)

To volunteer for any of these areas, please contact the Liturgy chairperson through the church office.

A representative from each of these areas meet once a month on the fourth Tuesday. Together with the pastor and/or parish minister, they discuss upcoming events on the liturgical calendar and how to successfully plan to make them effective and meaningful.

The Liturgy chairperson also attends the monthly Parish Council meeting (third Tuesday) to provide a report and participate in the activities of Parish Council.

Parish council chairperson for Liturgy is to be elected during the the even years..
